La Gloria Cubana
This iconic La Gloria Cubana name dates back to the late 1800’s in Cuba where it was produced up until the revolution. It was restarted in 1965 and is still being made today. When the Carillo family fled to Miami they formed the El Credito Co. and began producing LGC from the Dominican Republic. In 1999, grandson Ernesto sold the company to General Cigar.
Ernesto, like his father and grandfather before him is a Master Blender of the highest degree. His uncanny ability to blend non-Cuban leaves to produce cigars that rival their Cuban counterparts borders on wizardry. Although Ernesto has moved on, the brand retains his signature blends that continue to be relished by countless smokers.

La Gloria Cubana Serie R Esteli Natural
Rated 5.00 out of 5$25.99 – $110.75I’m a huge fan of this brand. I have not been a fan of their increasing prices. When this edition was launched in 2015, not only did I feel it was the best one I ever smoked, I was delighted at the affordable everyday price. Getting a 91 rating and being named one of the top 25 cigars of the year was a statement that I wasn’t alone. I feel this stick ranks as one of the greatest Cuban style, medium to full bodied cigars available on our whole site. If I could give it a sixth star, I would ! Enough said. Buckle up!
