CAO Session
$179.82 – $197.82CAO Session is yet another fantastic blend from CAO’s brand ambassador Rick Rodriguez.
This exceptional cigar uses a near black and oily top grade Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper, Dominican binder, and vintage filler from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The best way to describe Session is it’s ability to be bold and flavorful without being overpowering. In fact, this cigar’s medium body remains in place from start to finish via wide open draw yielding heaps of aromatic smoke. You’ll also enjoy an array of flavor notes along the way. Think espresso, cinnamon, cocoa and bits of peppery spices to liven things up.

Alec Bradley Coyol
$137.70 – $189.00Alec Bradley Coyol is named after a plantation of the same name, Coyol Farm.
Brand owner Alan Rubin believes that the Coyol farm produces tobacco of distinction. And this blend surely proves him right!
With attention to detail, there are elements of Coyol tobacco in each part of the cigar. The wrapper is from Coyol, as is one of the binders and part of the filler. The result is a thoroughly enjoyable medium to full bodied smoke. Cigar Aficionado rated this cigar a score of 93. They described it perfectly. ” Malty and rich with a floral quality complemented by layers of cocoa, honey and cloves. The draw and burn are lush and flawless.”
Coyol is probably one of the best cigars you’ve never heard about…until now! Without doubt, it’s another long time winner for Alec Bradley.

Back 2 Back Nicaragua
$71.10 – $355.50The “Back2Back” brand was launched by Davidoff in 2018 as a fairly priced “Meat and Potatoes” smoke. My only issue with the company was only offering them in huge boxes of 50 sticks. This dark and oily Nicaraguan puro is a smooth, flavorful medium bodied cigar. This well made stick is balanced and consistent with pleasant notes of coffee and spices. While the overall taste increases slightly in intensity as you move along, it remains balanced and enjoyable to the finish.

Back 2 Back Connecticut
$243.00 – $355.50The “Back2Back” brand was launched by Davidoff in 2018 as a fairly priced “Meat and Potatoes” smoke. My only issue with the company was only offering them in huge boxes of 50 sticks. In short, they’re well made mild to slightly medium-bodied cigars with a pleasant complexity. Even the enormous Gordo remains consistent with its smaller siblings yielding a slight sweetness and balanced, mellow smoothness. If you enjoy tamer tasting cigars, this is a good one to try. The Nicaraguan contents contribute a brighter character without being overpowering. Pick a size and try a five-pack.

Camacho Connecticut Box Pressed
$36.00 – $176.40While the Camacho Connecticut Box Press edition shares the same wrapper, binder, and filler as their rounded counterparts, the one big difference is the incorporation of Pennsylvania Broadleaf in the filler. So not only do you get all the flavor and taste of the original, the extra zing and richness from the broadleaf adds to the overall enjoyment. The bonus is how the box pressing enhances the draw amplifying the experience. No doubt it’s a little bolder than your traditional Connecticut.

Alec Bradley Maxx
$125.00 – $221.40Alec Bradley Maxx is one of this company’s best selling cigars for over 15 years.
With attention to detail, Maxx consists of vintage tobacco leaves from 5 countries. How’s that for a complex blend! With this purpose in mind, this medium to full bodied cigar is produced at the famed Plasencia Cigars S.A. Without a doubt, Maxx’s larger sizes offer smokers a bigger way to get more of what this great cigar has to offer. To explain this, Alan Rubin says it best.”By using tobaccos from five different countries in a large format cigar, I was able to create balance, sweetness and complexity. Sometimes, bigger is better.”
What’s more important are the high ratings and accolades about this fairly priced very tasty smoke. Cigar Aficionado gives it a 91 along with Blind Man’s Puff’s score of 93. And that’s just for starters! See what smokers have been enjoying for so many years to this day. It’s no wonder Maxx is pretty much in every cigar store in the country.

With attention to detail, Lineage contains a blend that has a Honduran wrapper from the Trojes region, a Nicaraguan binder, and a filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos. It’s important to note that the famed Raices Cubanas in Honduras produces this excellent cigar. Scoring a respectable 90 with Cigar Aficionado, Lineage is another winner for Alec Bradley. Their review is short and sweet. ” Topped with a pigtail cap, this robusto smokes evenly with a clean burn and full draw. It’s a toasty, creamy smoke with some salty elements, a bit of earth and a toffee sweetness.”
So if you’re a fan of big fat ring gauges or not…….Lineage yields a smooth and very enjoyable smoking experience for sure! Any size you choose is a top pick.
