With attention to detail, Tempus uses select tobacco from a farm in the Trojes region of Honduras, just north of the border of Nicaragua, and some of the finest tobacco from Jalapa, Nicaragua. This blend is probable one of the strongest cigars in their portfolio. With that being said, there’s no questioning Cigar Aficionado’s very impressive 94 rating. In fact, this cigar beat out many of it’s Cuban counterparts. With attention to detail, Tempus Nicaragua is a Nicaraguan puro featuring a double binder, and three ligero and viso fillers from various regions of the country. Noted reviewer KATMAN rates this cigar a more than decent score of 92. His words say it all. “My lord. Transitions. Smooth. And complexity galore. Each puff is better than the last. Tempus Nicaragua is an official flavor bomb.” With that said, the medium to slightly full flavor can only be described as hearty and balanced.
