It was a very happy new year in January 2021 when the amazing Henry Clay War Hawk scored a well deserved 95 rating and was named one of the top 25 cigars of the year. One description was spot on, “The flavors are bright and lively, with a sneaky strength that tends to surprise you—much like the alcohol in your fourth glass of sangria.” It was no surprise to me. This Altadis owned ancient brand has been turning out consistently great cigars no matter the price for many years. This is an amazing medium bodied cigar that you can really sink your palate into as you smoking it. The complexity of abundant flavors are a joy to behold. The corona is my favorite.
