Description
Nicholas Melillo, the founder of Foundation Cigar Company introduced Tabernacle cigars because of his love for broadleaf tobacco. In fact, the broadleaf is native to Connecticut and so is Nicolas. The name Tabernacle stems from his reverence for tobacco tradition and for Hebrew scripture. In Hebrew the Tabernacle stands for – which housed the Ark of the Covenant before the building of the Temple of Solomon.
Foundation recently introduced their limited edition cigars named David and Goliath. Their name represents Melillo’s journey in the tobacco industry. The Tabernacle comes in two limited edition perfecto sizes: David (5 x 54) and Goliath (5 x 58).

Foundation’s Tabernacle cigars are highly coveted for their bold, earthy profile with a natural sweetness. The David and Goliath in kind will feature the same rich Connecticut Broadleaf over the San Andres binder and fillers from the Jamastrán in Honduras and the Jalapa and Estelí valleys in Nicaragua.
The company’s owner said it best, “The Tabernacle blend in these two sizes deliver depth, complexity, body, and flavor. These sizes are special because they complement an amazing blend of some of the best tobaccos in the world.”
