Drew Estate
Going from a 16 square foot kiosk at New York City’s World Trade Center in 1998 to the largest cigar factory in Nicaragua of over 96,000 square feet making 94,000 handmade cigars a day is a real interesting story.
Even though La Vieja Habana was this company’s first official brand, when Acid was launched in 1999 a “Cult Status” began leading Jonathan’s Drew and Marvin Samel to evolve their company into one of the world’s leading producers of cigars.

Herrera Esteli Habano
Rated 5.00 out of 5$31.99 – $203.00Now I really know you know what you’re looking for! When Master Blender Willy Herrera teamed up with Jonathan Drew (Drew Estate) in 2014 it caught everyone’s attention. As this first Habano edition hit the street receiving an incredible 94 rating along with placing #8 in the top 25 cigars of the year, we all knew a new level of cigar making had begun. This stick is a super smooth, medium bodied, perfectly made cigar with an ample draw. Its slow burn is balanced with a complex taste that slightly increases in intensity as you move along. Only as it draws to a close do you experience a robust full bodied taste reminiscent of Cuban made powerhouses. I’ve often said that taste is a personal preference. This is one of my favorite cigars ever. I highly recommend purchasing a box of 10 Toro Tubes and allowing them to continue aging. This well balanced full flavor beauty is a superb smoke that’s actually available available to us all in ample supply. I highly recommend a five pack of the amazing Flying Pig size. Get your favorite whiskey, bourbon or wine in hand and BUCKLE UP!!! Origin - Nicaragua Filler - Brazilian-Nicaraguan Binder - Connecticut Habano Wrapper Type - San Andres Maduro -
Deadwood Tobacco Co Original
Rated 4.00 out of 5$36.00 – $174.00This is an interesting bunch of cigars. Jonathan Drew put this small batch line together and launched them in a retail store in Deadwood, South Dakota, hence the name. They were such a huge success that in 2016 this group originally named “Crazy Bitches” went national. Even Though production and availability is somewhat limited, we usually have at least one of the three styles in stock. We know each has a Maduro wrapper and come from Nicaragua. The fillers and binders are undisclosed. What you need to know is that the Sweet Jane and Fat Bottom Betty editions are very sweet mild to medium bodied cigars overall. The Crazy Alice is…well….just crazy! It packs more of a punch than the others and possesses more complexity across the board that fall into the “acquired taste” range. If you’re a fan of Acid infusion sticks, these are must trys. Origin - Nicaragua Filler - Coming Soon! Binder - Coming Soon! Wrapper Type - Maduro -

Joya De Nicaragua Black
Rated 5.00 out of 5$30.00 – $140.0050 years ago this brands Original entry (featured on our site) was considered one of the world’s best cigars with a reputation as a true cuban style “He Man” stick. If you’re a fan of mild smokes you would have stood clear of this 90+ rated long time full bodied old school favorite. It still remains one of my favorites with whiskey. Drew Estate acquired the brand several years ago and it wasn't long before they began to reinvent the line. Their first edition of Joya Red (listed on our site) was a huge success. When Black hit the scene in 2018, not only did it get a 93 rating, it was also named one of the top 25 cigars of the year! The addition of a San Andreas Mexican wrapper made this medium bodied, slow burning stick a huge hit at a very friendly price. Ambrosia Original
Rated 4.00 out of 5$29.99 – $178.99Many folks know blue label Acid cigar editions are hugely successful. Their signature infusion of flavors is either loved or not. The Ambrosia line is also infused but in a very focused way. The key word here is clove, and a lot of it. This is a totally unique, medium bodied slightly spicy cigar. And yes, the omnipresent aroma and taste of clove increases as you move along. It’s safe to say it’s an “acquired taste” at the very least. ACID
Rated 5.00 out of 5$25.00 – $215.00Many years ago Jonathan Drew the founder of Acid Cigars pioneered the little known technique of infusing aromas into cigar tobacco. The result of the Blue Labeled line of acid cigars became an “acquired taste” that grew into one of the country’s biggest sellers. the Blondi and Kuba Kuba became must have products in every cigar store. Their taste is totally unique and brought in a whole new group of smokers. As time passed, many cigar Aficionado “purists” came to enjoy this blend as a pleasant break from traditional smokes. Rated 5.00 out of 5$68.00 – $94.00In case you’re wondering, MUWAT is short for My Uzi Weighs a Ton! This extremely unique cigar was Jonathan Drew’s first venture with Joya de Nicaragua with the American Kentucky Fire Cured drying process. Normally, tobaccos used with cigars are air dried. What Jonathan did here was to cure the leaves in Tobacco Barns that burn selected harwoods like Oak and Cherry letting the smoke dry and infuse the leaves with a totally unique flavor. This slow burning stick is medium bodied and super smooth. Origin - Nicaragua Filler - Brazilian-Nicaraguan Binder - Ecuador Connecticut Wrapper Type - San Andres -
Larutan (Natural) Original
Rated 5.00 out of 5$32.00 – $194.00I recall when Drew Estate introduced this line as “Natural”. At some point in time the name changed to Larutan…which, by the way is Natural spelled backwards. Why? I have no idea! What makes these cigars so great is that they contain some pretty exotic tobaccos inside the blend. Select Black leaves from Syria, Haiti,Turkey and Louisiana give these sticks a truly distinct taste from all others. What’s important to know is that each size varies somewhat in taste with one commonality, they’re all slightly sweet, smooth and medium bodied in character.
