Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co., is located in Danli, Honduras. It started operating in 2012 with the Factory being founded by Oscar Valladares who spent more than 9 years with Rocky Patel along with his brother Hector and Bayron Duarte who worked with General Cigar and Oliva for more than 20 years.
He started in the cigar industry almost like a destiny turn while working for a travel agency booking tours of Rocky Patel’s factories. In a short time Rocky asked him to be part of his team. During this time, he met Bayron, and a long friendship began leading to the conception and formation of the company.
When his first cigars production of 5000 cigars sold out in two weeks, the rest is cigar-making history!

$149.00When I first saw these sticks laying in a tray on the floor of one of my customers humidor, I thought it was the ugliest cigar I’d ever seen! Not only that, they weren’t some kind of value priced bundle either. When I asked the retailer what the heck they were and if they sold, he flat out told me that he couldn’t keep them in stock! Despite their outward appearance, when the raw tobacco outer covering is pulled away these Honduran purebreds are finely blended and well crafted cigars yielding a spectrum of strengths with a consistently sweet undertone.- The Connecticut is mild to medium bodied with a bit of spice.
- The Corojo is mild to medium bodied with more spiciness than the Connecticut
- The medium to full bodied Maduro is my favorite. It has a pleasant combination of sweetness and spice
- The Sumatran may start off on the medium note but soon proceeds to a more robust full bodied stick.
