Description
The Filthy Hooligan – Shamrock is the second entry of this totally unique series. To begin with, Alec Bradley is a family company launching in 1996 by Alan Rubin. Today, they manufacture some of the world’s highest critically acclaimed premium cigars. Producing over 10 million cigars a year places them as one of world’s top cigar makers. The company was recently purchased by Altadis USA to become part of their Forged Cigar unit.
Alec Bradley releases the hugely popular Filthy Hooligan series every year around Saint Patrick’s Day. With attention to detail, the bright green candela leaf on the Filthy Hooligan Shamrock combines its Nicaraguan Habano Maduro and Habano Natural wrapper adding to the cigar’s overall complexity. This triple wrapper encases a blend of Ecuadorian binder and Panamanian and Honduran fillers, tobaccos shared with the original Alec Bradley Black Market. To say this is a complex cigar in an understatement. What we can say is that Shamrock is a smooth, flavorful, medium bodied cigar with an array of natural tobacco tastes, heaps of aromatic smoke and lots of flavor.
To sum up, the Filthy Hooligan – Shamrock is only available in a 6×50 Toro size in boxes of 24. But fear not! You can also purchase a 5 pack to give them a try.

The new Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan Shamrock barber pole 2021
edition uses Honduran Candela, Habano Maduro and Habano Seco tobaccos for the multi layered wrapper. At the time of production the company didn’t disclose their proprietary blend of fillers or binder but later revealed it as having both Honduran and Panamanian fillers along with a Sumatran binder. Only 1,500 boxes of theses were produced. These are very unique, complex medium bodied cigars.
