CAO Session is yet another fantastic blend from CAO’s brand ambassador Rick Rodriguez.
This exceptional cigar uses a near black and oily top grade Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper, Dominican binder, and vintage filler from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The best way to describe Session is it’s ability to be bold and flavorful without being overpowering. In fact, this cigar’s medium body remains in place from start to finish via wide open draw yielding heaps of aromatic smoke. You’ll also enjoy an array of flavor notes along the way. Think espresso, cinnamon, cocoa and bits of peppery spices to liven things up.

The Camacho Nicaraguan edition is considered by many to be the finest Camacho release in years. When the robusto scored an astounding 94, Cigar Aficionado plainly stated it was one of the best cigars they’ve smoked all year. This oily wrapped gem is actually a four country blend of vintage leaves. This complexity creates a medium to full bodied cigar possessing a sweet and spicy taste with pronounced flavor notes of cocoa, nougat, fruits and hardwoods. When this cigar launched, the folks at Davidoff described it best. “This series creates depth to our Camacho Core portfolio appealing to a wider range of consumers’ tastes. Although bold, the blend is balanced and remarkably flavorful.” Enough said! It’s time to taste an amazing cigar that rated higher than its Cuban counterparts!

Caldwell Eastern Standard Sungrown is one of four versions of this company’s first entry.
This medium to full bodied cigar was best described by Robert Caldwell himself as follows,”The Sungrown is a creamy cigar with noticeable nicotine. Its peppery nature is balanced perfectly by its creamy balance. It is slightly sweet, a bit nutty and rich. It is full-bodied and best enjoyed with a stiff drink.” Noted reviewer KATMAN confirmed this great cigar’s complexity best, ” Very creamy, black pepper with a touch of red pepper, chocolate, apple butter, cumin, fresh pear, cedar, and malts.” Enough said!

The Blind Man’s Bluff Maduro is one of four in this amazing series. Unlike the original, this blend’s is comprised of Dominican long fillers with a Sumatran binder. But the big difference is the dark and oily Pennsylvanian Maduro wrapper. This combination leads to a very enjoyable smoking experience. The highly critical folks at Cigars Daily describes it best,”Caldwell’s Blind Man’s Bluff Maduro is a three country blend that produces a medium-strength flavor that builds over time. Light up this dark cigar to get flavor notes of cinnamon, cedar, vanilla, coffee, and raisins. This is a fantastic blend for anyone who wants a Maduro with a refined flavor that doesn’t pack a wallop of high nicotine strength.”

Alec Bradley Gatekeeper is the first creation from the company founder’s sons, Alec and Bradley Rubin.
With attention to detail, this very impressive cigar is a collaboration between the Rubin brothers and industry veteran Ernesto Perez-Carrillo who makes the cigar in the Dominican Republic. With an astounding score of 95, Cigar Aficionado describes it perfectly. ” The Gatekeeper finds synergy and balance with its backbone of pepper (both red and black), nougat and caramel that’s spicy in the right places, sweet in the right places and pops with savory snaps of leather. ” Becoming their #7 cigar of the year didn’t hurt either!
